Here are the steps to take to plan an effective email marketing campaign.
- Set up an account with an email marketing management company.
- We love Mailchimp. An account with them until your mailing list gets larger (that’s a good problem, by the way)
- Make sure you are compliant with all anti-spamming laws
- Build your list both from current customers and visitors to your website
- Design a template for your newsletter
- Select content for a monthly newsletter then create the content
- Track results and use them to set goals for future newsletters
